 We have an open ticket covering what you're seeing with `gimp2-launcher`,
 and we plan to tackle that when time allows: issue:67103

 But in the interim, the previous version of the launcher should be fine.

 And thank you so much for reporting back, it's great that `gimp2` is now
 working for you!
