 It appears that the issue was fixed upstream in 2021 as part of the fix
 for https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gst-plugins-good/-/issues/868
 and the fix is available in 1.18.5 and later stable versions.  The current
 stable version is 1.20.5.  MacPorts is using version 1.16.2 from 2019.
