 IMHO, a big problem of the Debian 'libpaper' library is that it is GPL-2
 only.  This currently makes more than 20 ports non-distributable; some of
 them are quite important like 'gimp', 'ghostscript', or 'ImageMagick'.
 The complete list is below.

 However, there exists a 'friendly fork' at
 https://github.com/rrthomas/libpaper that comes with both a GPL-2 and
 GPL-3 license.  I thus suggest to switch to this port.
