 I was working on a posix_spawn implementation for Tiger a couple of years
 ago, but I never fully finished it. I can upload what I have.

 In the meantime, perhaps you can look at the change that brought this in,
 and see if you can come up with an #ifdef setup that will provide
 something similar in this port for Tiger to use.
