 the freeimage repository.

 An alternate fix was suggested in
 [https://sourceforge.net/p/freeimage/patches/135/ patch 135] and
 [https://sourceforge.net/p/freeimage/patches/153/ patch 153]; I've asked
 clarification from the developer which fix should be used.
