 After installing `sudo port install xorg-server` and rebooting, there is
 no Application shortcut for gLabels.

 In `Terminal`, executing `glabels-3` there is a delay of about a minute
 where nothing happens, then a XQuartz icon appears in the dock and shortly
 after that the gLabels application finally starts.

 Thank you, this has got it working for me, the whole installation just
 needs some work at tidying the rough edges, ie automatically installing an
 X11 server, adding a startup shortcut and some kind of visual indication
 that the application is starting.
