 Certainly not clear that it is already sorted out from the comments above,
 with those undefined link symbols etc that you indicated, but perhaps it
 really is sorted out and I can't see that clearly.

 Are we clear on what building gstreamer-gst-plugins-base +x11 while at the
 same time disabling -Dwinsys=x11 will do to the x11 functionality of
 gstreamer-gst-plugins-base? Seems like it would break it, but I only go on
 the obviousness of the options, not with testing it.

 At any rate, the +quartz variant of webkit2-gtk works now, as is, for
 folks, for people like me who want this to work today.
