 I didn't look through this exhaustively, but I think going from 10.6 to
 10.7, the only additional function that needs this treatment is the new
 stpncpy.

 Later on, if someday more secure string functions need to be added, there
 could be more.

 So I would just add it like the others, myself. By you're the new
 maintainer of legacysupport, so you can decide how you want to play it
 out.
