 Apparently related are #69056 and #69057 where they are looking for
 `/opt/local/bin/ginstall`

 These problems started when I deleted my global port installation because
 it was conflicting with another program (can't remember the exact conflict
 now).

 I was expecting my local built `base` install to work without it as they
 shouldn't be connected.
