 Please do create a separate ticket for your pandoc question; it has
 nothing to do with this ticket which is exclusively about `MAP_ANONYMOUS`.

 Since nothing has happened with the `MAP_ANONYMOUS` issue I've now filed
 it upstream: https://github.com/ngs-lang/ngs/issues/665
