 It would be much appreciated when those with problems and reading this
 ticket would test the solution and submit their experience. `sudo port
 edit <package name>` opens the `package's Portfile` for editing. There
 you'll certainly find a line starting with `configure.args`. Amongst the
 present arguments you can add this new one
 `gl_cv_func_getcwd_succeeds_beyond_4k=no \` before the last line of this
 block (identified by a line not ending with a backslash). Don't forget to
 save the change to `Portfile`! And try to build.
