 build gcc13] do you suspect to be connected to this problem?

 I would rather assume that you should report the problem to Apple. We
 can't fix problems in their new linker or influence for how long they will
 still offer the classic linker.

 Or, you should report the problem to the developers of gcc, if the problem
 persists in the latest version of gcc.
