 @ Renee - I disagree with that approach when there is, as there is in this
 case, a common failure affecting multiple packages. Opening a ticket for
 each port will just spam Trac.

 I can already verify that making sure {{{DEVELOPER_DIR}}} is not exported
 (requires modifications to {{{portutil.tcl}}} and {{{portconfigure.tcl}}})
 resolves the issue with C++ builds not being able to include headers from
 the standard library.
