 @kencu, no, not bad news - irrelevant news.

 Because I've no problem with legacy provider and python313 on my Intel
 Macs either. It manifests **only** on **Apple Silicon** (I have M2 Max
 chip, not sure how other HW versions would behave).

 Re. potential impact from other installed things - I hear you. But it is
 what it is. And it doesn't seem to interfere (much 😉) with Macports (so
 far).
