 Ah no, it is EXTREMELY relevant! Because now nobody is going to set things
 up so that openssl3 can't be installed with the legacy variant when we
 want python313.

 And it points clever people in the right direction to potentially fix this
 problem, assuming anyone else does repro this on an arm Mac (so far, it's
 still only your arm system -- but we'll see...)
