Hi all,
thanks for your reply. I indeed have a 10.5 install DVD (retail) from the
olden days of my Macs before my current MacBook Air M1 (which I all sold
back then). I can give it a try with LeopardAssist as Leopard won't
install on machines slower than 867 MHz and the Cube runs at 450 MHz. And
it has the GForce 2MX equipped, must have a look if that is compatible.
And of course I'm a bit afraid that, if the speed limit imposed by Apple
was because of reason and not only to boost hardware sales, the Cube might
run off slower under Leopard than tiger.
Is the python313 fix already available? I gave port install python313 and,
of course, to no avail.
other ports than gimp & inkscape that failed were XOrg Server (but I found
XQuartz on the Install CD), x3270.
