 Any suggestions? This has unexpected knock-on effects, such as it is
 impossible to install `py-spyder` as there is a chain of dependencies
 leading back here, breaking the build. I tend to use `+quartz` when I can,
 and `avahi` is only distributed as a binary with `+x11` (however, I am
 uncertain of exactly why avahi would need either of those options, at this
 point I just want Spyder installed). I will be trying to use the binary
 for now and see how this goes.
