rsync readlink failed invalid argument?

That's interesting. It looks like rsync is complaining because you
have a work directory in your MailtoMutt folder. However, doing a
selfupdate should blow away the work directory.
Try doing a `sudo port clean MailtoMutt` and selfupdating again. See
if that fixes it.
