rsync readlink failed invalid argument?

Thanks. I cleaned MailtoMutt and then got messages about work folders in
several other ports. So, I cleaned all of them except aqua/NmapFE would
fail to be cleaned. If I ls -lA the directory, ls prints "invalid
argument", and shows it without an indication of where the link is
linked to. Also cd work would print "invalid argumet". So I deleted it
and selfupdate works now.
