error after installation of MacPorts

Hi mates!

I am new on this list - I hope to get some support. ;)

Today I installed on my MacOS Tiger 10.4.9 MacPorts in version 1.4.0  
from the official source. The setup really worked fine. There weren't  
any mistakes. So I thaught "Wow, sweet as! Programs runs!"

Well, I opened up my terminal, typed port... And that's it:

"no suitable image found.  Did find:
         /opt/local/share/darwinports/Tcl/pextlib1.0/Pextlib.dylib:  
mach-o, but wrong architecture

"load /opt/local/share/darwinports/Tcl/pextlib1.0/Pextlib.dylib"

Well, I don't know what that error means... That's not good, isn't it?
