Return of the son of XFCE4

On a fresh 1.43 install, I tried a XFCE (4.2.2), and I'm still having  
issues with the xfce4-panel recognizing left mouseclicks.  I need to  
command-click to get either xfce4-panel or xfwm to respond.

I'm on a c2d 2ghz macbook.  I haven't reproduced this on the MDD G4  
under 1.43, but I did a while back under 1.3.

Does anyone have a functional xfce4 install?
