(no subject)

I looked around the website and could find no definitive statement of
what MacPorts is supposed to be. Lots of "join us", but no "this
project is/does" paragraphs. I would expect to find such a paragraph
at the top of the HOME page.

Using Mac since 1984. Unix since 1978.
