ok, got it. but the debian solution (some other arbitrary name) would
work. so why can't you just include this (the renaming of the
executable) into the patch procedure.

he will tell you that the user's are'nt going to read this, so it's not
prominent enough etc etc.

nevertheless, `ion3' is a very good tool (the author's attitude does
not shine through :-)), so I would really appriciate it, if it's availability
could somehow be secured.
