libiconv installation failure

Hello,

* installing gperf should fix the problem

the gperf that comes with panther doesn't accept the -m flag, mp's  
gperf does

* the dependency on gperf was integrated into the darwin 7 variant a  
week or two ago so a sync should fix the problem, too
