Trouble installing Source-Highlight

Hi all,

I encountered the following error while trying to install source-highlight
package using port. Googling turned up the link 
http://www.nabble.com/Problem-compiling-source-highlight-on-Mac-OS-10.4.2-t341744.html
but I am unsure how to use that particular recommendation alongside port.
Kindly help me.
