GTKsourceview# does not recognize gnome-sharp

Which parts are you building with MacPorts and which ports are you
building manually?
I see there is a port "gnome-bindings-csharp". Is that what you need?
Is that port installed?

The correct type of value for PKG_CONFIG_PATH would be something like:
/opt/local/lib/pkgconfig
But of course, setting it to that value will only help you if a pkg-
config file for the desired software is in fact present in that
directory, and such a file will only be there if you've installed the
relevant port.
