Horrible problems after moving /opt/local aside

I've shortened the list port spit out to what looked like the most
relevant entries.
port search tex
TeXShop aqua/TeXShop 2.09d TeX
previewer for Mac OS X
TeXmacs editors/TeXmacs 1.0.6.10 GNU
TeXmacs: A Scientific Text Editor
teTeX print/teTeX 3.0 TeX and
