manpath oddity [ issue with perl pages ? ]

Yes, this issue was discussed extensively around the time when we  
fixed the @INC ordering for the perl ports.

IIRC, there weren't really any 'good' options to get things to work  
correctly.

One thing you can do in the meantime is to use perldoc instead of man  
to look up information for perl modules ;-)
