building csound

Hi - I hope posting this to this list is appropriate. I'm trying to  
install csound, but running into errors and I'm wondering if anyone  
has sufficient experience to interpret what they mean, i.e. suggest  
the next step I should take. I'm not adverse to doing some work here,  
just looking for suggestions because I'm rather new to the macports  
thing. Thanks for your insights - Steve
