named with DLZ support

Is the variant part of mysql, or bind?

I think DLZ support is already in named, but I could be wrong, so this  
is just a matter of making mysql thread safe?

What happens if I had mysql already installed, and all I need to do is  
apply the new configure line?  Can this be done in place, or do I have  
to take it down, and change it?
