mp4v2 failed to compile

I haven't been able to compile mp4v2 in a couple months. I noticed a
lot of posts on the bug report board so I assumed a lot of work was
going on. Well, I still have not been able to compile. I'm running
MacPorts 1.8.1, with everything updated, and gcc 4.3.4 and Xcode 2.5
on a G5 system. Has anyone else had issues? I get the following error:

Should a bug report be filed? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in
