But whatever you do, please do not put DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH in your .profile... This is just to figure out what the problem may be.

If DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH really "fixes" the problem, then we should fix the linking in our port instead (even if it's just some install_name_tool foo in post-install
