I mean uninstall/reinstall texlive-bin by the way, e.g.:
sudo port uninstall -f texlive-bin
sudo port install texlive-bin

Also, don't be offended by terse commentary on the tickets, there are
a lot, and tons of them aren't really "real" problems, so to take care
of resolving them all people don't like to type much and maybe just
missed your real issue...
