port post install notes

Hi folks,

Firs of all big thanks for MacPorts! 

Is there a way to view the post install notes? Unless I missed that information 
from 'man port' and then I will pronto go back to it :)

All I could find are logs in the format 
"/opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_<package>" 
but they are gone once the installed completes.
