gedit

People,

Background:
Installed gedit via ports no problem

Problem:
gedit loads but displays the following message:

aramayolab01:~ raramayo$ gedit
Xlib:  extension "RANDR" missing on display "/tmp/launch-anigDX/org.x:0".

** (gedit:2823): WARNING **: Could not load theme icon system-file-manager:
Icon 'system-file-manager' not present in theme
====

Is this normal?? Can I install the extension RANDR??
