Upgrade macports after a Lion upgrade

I had a similar Problem.
Somehow, MacPorts forgot all Ports I had installed, so whenever I tried to install anything it said something like:
"file exists, use port -f activate xyz'
force activating worked, but it was a pain, since I had to do it for every port, and it produced many old files in the /opt directory.

I also removed everything and reinstalled. Now it works fine.
