Unable to proceed with installation of tiff after hitting Ctrl+C

Yes, but I installed the some port (for wxWidgets) successfully on
another machine, so it cannot be port's fault. It might be some
general MacPorts bug.

My main question is how to circumvent the problem, but I'm willing to
help debugging (if I only knew what to look for).
