Can't install - 'Xcode is not installed..'

I downloaded Xcode from https://developer.apple.com

The file was downloaded as xcode_4.1_for_lion.dmg
If I understand you correctly, then there is no path at
/Developer/Applications/Xcode, however, I find the following:
/Applications/Install Xcode.app
Should I be executing `Install Xcode.app' ?
FYI: It is late here, my computer lab is morphing into a dining
room. Please don't take a delay in my reply for lack of interest.:)
