port doesn't show anything when using by root

Hi guys,

I use macport since a while, and I'm confronted with a very strange issue.

When I try to use port with my root user (or sudo), port doesn't show me
anything, even with the -v option and I didn't hand over the terminal.
However when I try to launch port with a non-root user, I've access to
the interactive mode, but unable to install anything (normal, I've to have
some privileges to do that).

In both case, the path is the same…

Some weeks ago I didn't have this problem, and I'm always on Lion, not
upgraded yet to Mountain Lion, but I've upgraded Xcode to the latest version
available on the MAS.

Have you some ideas to help me?

Thank in advance,
