Oh, thanks for noticing, I didn't catch there was only one "5" in the
original message.

It's similar for mysql5, though:
 - it installs /opt/local/lib/mysql5/bin/mysql and
 - symlinks that to /opt/local/bin/mysql5.

So running mysql5 should give you a mysql client.
