xfig does not compile (lion with Xcode 4.2.1)

Hello,

when installing xfig (sudo port install xfig) it fails in the configure
stage, the screen message follows:

--->  Computing dependencies for xfig
--->  Configuring xfig
Error: Target org.macports.configure returned: xmkmf failure: shell command
failed (see log for details)
Log for xfig is at:
/opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_graphics_xfig/xfig/main.log
Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.

I am running Lion (OS X 10.7.3) with Xcode 4.2.1.

I am including the log file. is anibody having the same problem? Is there a
work-around?
