Error on "sudo port -v upgrade outdated"

Check your /Library/Logs/CrashReporter for a crash from around the time the error occurred.

Since it's such an old system (gcc-4.0), not sure Apple will do anything for you. Might be worth using a newer compiler from MacPorts (clang-3.1 or at least gcc-4.2).
