Did you build py-game with the +portmidi variant?  It's still considered
experimental, apparently, so is still a separate variant to avoid possible
breakage.

    $ sudo port install py-game +portmidi

(The variant doesn't show up on py-game itself, but is in the
per-python-version subport, i.e. py27-game.  It should propagate to the
subport when built as above.)
