Unhappily, installing <
https://distfiles.macports.org/MacPorts/MacPorts-1.8.0-archive.tar.bz2>
produces the same
checking Mac OS X version... 10.3.9
configure: error: This version of Mac OS X is not supported
error. I don't think this is going to work. I'll just leave this machine
for simple Python development, since 2.7.3 is definitely working.
