MAcPorts LAMP file/folder permissions Local WordPress

Using jasper:admin or jasper:_www does not work on my OSX Mountain Lion with MacPorts LAMP. It is not a rights issue cause chmod 777 does not do the trick either. Folder should normally be 755 anyways..

If 777 doesn't help then I'd ask if you're using the correct directory or if WP has uploads disabled.
