Hi Guys,
Thanks for your help.
I had an installation of mythtv (not the MacPorts version) running previously. Could that be the problem?
When I give this command:
mysql5 -u root -p < /opt/local/share/mythtv/database/mc.sql
I get:
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/opt/local/var/run/mysql5/mysqld.sock' (2)
So I think it may be a MySQL problem, but I don't know what the solution would be.
