Macports, Mavericks, LaTeX/XeTeX, PDF files, and "Trace/BPT trap: 5"

Hi,

latex is working just fine for me on OS X 10.9, PDFs view just fine. My poplar installation is the default one though, as I don’t use OKular, Kile et. al.
