OS X: Go to the folder: can't be found

Oy. The process you described works for me. I'm on 10.8.5 (12F37). I just did this…

    % port logfile ppl | pbcopy

…went to a ticket, opened the file selection sheet, Command-Shift-G, pasted…

    /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_Users_larryv_Projects_MacPorts_svn_users_larryv_dports_devel_ppl/ppl/main.log

…removed trailing newline and "main.log", found the folder just fine. In fact, if I don't edit the pasted line at all, it goes straight to the log file, as you'd expect.
