port uninstall hangs after upgrading to Yosemite

I suspect if you run with -d to see what it's doing, it will be backing up
and uninstalling a couple thousand little files. This takes a while,
especially on a 2G MacBook Air (2G really isn't enough to run 10.10, so
it's probably paging like mad as well).

    pyanfar:3382 Z$ port contents boost | wc -l
       31787

...I stand corrected. 32 thousand! Boost is kind of a nightmare.
