Can I get ports to work under 10.10 Yosemite?

You'll be able to do that once you rebuilt MacPorts itself. Your installed
ports will be preserved (but you should follow
https://trac.macports.org/wiki/Migration) after that and re-install them.

Since we don't have a 10.10 buildbot there are no binary archives and
re-installing from source will take a while. Expect delays.
